Poha

Hello Friends,Today I want to share with you a very famous and light breakfast which is very famous all over India. 

Yes This is POHA. A very famous breakfast in Maharashtra and you can easily get this meal in streets. It is easy to make and can be serve as breakfast as well as evening snacks in Tea Time. 

Ingredients:-


# 3 Cups Poha / Flattened Rice
# 2 Medium Size finely chopped onions
# 1 Table Spoon Finely chopped green chilles
# 6-8 Curry Leaves
# 1 Half Cup of peanuts
# 2 Table spoon Coriander Leaves
# 1/2 Table Spoon Turmeric Powder ( Haldi )
# 2 Table Spoon Oil ( If you want  you can use olive oil )
# Salt as per taste
# 1 Table Spoon Mustard Seeds
# 1 Table Spoon Lemon

Follow the Instructions:-

Wash the poha and drain the water completely. Do it for 2 times and after that put the poha aside.Will use it later but make sure all the water will drain out completely. 

First get the pan, Put oil and get it heated. Once the pan will be heated put some Mustard seeds and let them crack. 

Add peanuts and the chopped green chilies and let them saute. Add some curry leaves, chopped onions and saute all.

Now you can add sprinkle the salt as per your taste. Once you saute all of them then add turmeric powder so that it will get the yellow color, Mix it well.

Now get the washed Poha which you washed earlier and add that,Make sure you will mix that well and cooked them. 

Finally add some coriander leaves. If you want then add some Lemon Juice to give it a Tangy flavor its up to you as this is optional.It is ready to seve.

Enjoy this breakfast as this is very light and very good for sugar patient.
