Mutton Kofte


Hello Friends,

Today I want to share with you a one of very famous of recipe of Muglai Food, Yes its Mutton Mofta. This is made by my bhabhi from moradabad.

Please find the details:-

Ingredients for kofte:-

1/2 Kg Meat Minced
4 Badam
1 Table Spoon Khaskhas
2 Table Spoon Coconut powder
1 Table Spoon Ginger Paste
1 Table Spoon Garlic Paste
2 Onions ( Fry Brown)
4 Table Spoon Makthe chane
1/2 Table spoon garam masala
1/2 Table spoon salt
1 Cup Coriander Leave
1 Table Spoon Coriander Powder

Ingredients for Gravy:-

4 Onions
1 Table Spoon Ginger Paste
1 Table Spoon Garlic Paste
1/2 Table Spoon Haldi
2 Table Spoon Dhania Powder
Red Chilli as per taste
1/2 Tea spoon coriander powder
1 Tea spoon cumin powder
1/2 Tea Spoon Garam Masala
salt as per taste
3 Cup Tomato Puree
2 Cup Dahi

Method:-

Make a Gravy Paste

First get a mixer and put all ingredients for gravy as mention above and make a paste of it.Now take a pan and put oil in it and let it be heated and once it will be heated put the gravy paste and cook it till it will leave oil ( Means bhune). Once it will be ready keep it aside.

Now make a kofta

First drain all the water from the minced meat by squeezing it. Now get a mixer and put all the ingredients of kofte and add the minced meat and mix all well. Make sure all masala will mix gently with the meat. Make sure that the paste need to be thick so no need to add water. Now make a small ball of paste in equal sizes as per requirement.

Take a pan and put some oil and fry the kofta till it become golden brown.

Now Finally cook the gravy and kofte


Take a kadhai and put oil it in and let it be heated and once it will be heated put the gravy paste in it and let stir it for 5 minutes. now put the tomato puree and saute it till oil separates from the paste.

Now add 1 cup of water and cook it for 5 minutes and after that put the meat fry balls and stir it and add the dahi and cook it for 2-3 minutes. Its ready to serve.

Mutton Kofte are ready to serve.

Garnish it with coriander leaves.
